VoltTest is a cloud-based load testing platform designed for authorized performance testing only. We take abuse of our platform seriously. If you believe someone is using VoltTest to conduct unauthorized load testing, denial-of-service attacks, or any other malicious activity against your systems, please report it immediately.
What Constitutes Abuse
- Load testing against systems without the owner's authorization
- Using VoltTest to conduct denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks
- Attempting to disrupt or degrade third-party infrastructure
- Using the platform for any illegal activity
- Circumventing rate limits or usage restrictions
Identifying VoltTest Traffic
All HTTP requests originating from VoltTest include a User-Agent header in the following format:
User-Agent: Volt-Test/<version>If you see this header in your server logs and did not authorize the test, please report it using the information below.
How to Report
Send an email to abuse@volt-test.com with the following information:
- Your name and contact information
- The target system(s) being affected (IP addresses, domains)
- Date, time, and duration of the suspected abuse
- Any logs, traffic captures, or evidence you can provide
- A description of the impact on your systems
Our Response
We investigate all abuse reports promptly. Depending on the severity, we may:
- Immediately suspend the offending account and stop any active tests
- Permanently terminate accounts found to be in violation of our Terms of Service
- Cooperate with law enforcement when required
- Notify you of the outcome of our investigation
